About Ayonda L. Batts, Ph.D

Dr. Batts is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults. She received her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University with a concentration in Behavioral Medicine. She completed her Post-Doctoral training in Psychiatric (Psychosocial) Rehabilitation from the University of Virginia. Dr. Batts primarily utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy approaches to assist individuals in reaching their treatment goals. Dr. Batts’ treatment experiences are vast and include, but not limited to, adjustment disorders, behavioral disorders, eating disorders, depression and other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, communication/relationship issues, and life skills (i.e. stress management, time management, social skills and assertiveness training).

Dr. Batts has worked in Inpatient, Residential, and Outpatient settings. She specializes in the treatment of Eating disorders; Behavioral Consultation; and Psychiatric (Psychosocial) Rehabilitation.
